African Chamber of Commerce, Colorado and the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business

This year, the African Chamber of Commerce Colorado and the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business are partnering to provide much-needed technical assistance to small business owners.

Four MBA students who are High Growth Venture Fellows at the Demings Center for Entrepreneurship will assist three African Chamber members to work on a project that supports areas of need identified by business owners. The goal is to help the owners address issues that hinder their growth. The students will support them through the end of April 2023.

The business owners working with the CU students include:-

"I'm excited about the new lessons"

"I'm excited about the opportunity and confident about the outcomes"

  • Fariah Laikipian founder of Uzury Women's Center located in Kenya, Africa. Fariah is a 21-year-old Kenyan woman and a fellow at the Mandela Washington Fellowship.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity"
